AQUATIC FITNESS
Water Aerobics: This class is held in the shallow end of our lap pool and our instructors make sure to give modifications so members of all fitness levels get a great workout.
Deep-Water Aerobics: This class is held in the deeper end of our lap pool and uses our weight belts and wrist and ankle buoyancy and resistance cuffs.
Aqua Kickbox: Kick and punch in the shallow water for fun and different way to work out in the aquatic environment.
Arthritis Foundation Water Class: An aquatic class consisting of over 68 separate exercises that enable participants to improve and maintain joint flexibility, thereby enhancing their abilities to perform daily tasks, increase their independence and improve their overall sense of well-being.
Therapeutic stretching: A full body stretching class for those with limited mobility.
Aqua Express: A 30 minute aquatic exercise class designed to give you a complete workout in only 30 minutes.
Ai Chi: This is a simple water exercise and relaxation program performed using a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso in flowing continual patterns.
Gentle Yoga: This is a quiet calming practice that is designed for people over 50 or for people with physical challenges that move at a slower pace. This class includes breath work, poses, and short relaxation period at the end of each session.
