Hays Imaging Network The Hays Imaging Center has a long history of sharing technology and technical expertise with healthcare practitioners in western Kansas and southern Nebraska. Imaging technologies that rural hospitals alone could not afford are regularly brought to rural primary care hospitals to provide the essential diagnostic imaging services to keep patients close to home and their family doctor. The strength of these shared resources is bound together by the radiologists of Radiology Associates of Hays.
The network of traveling radiologists coupled with 24 hours per day emergency access to a radiologist through teleradiology, allows services to travel far from Hays.
Mobile imaging services from Hays include Sono/Ultrasound with Color Doppler, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Computerized Tomography (CT). Mammography is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is certified by the US Food and Drug Administration. On board a tractor trailer, CT Scan is the most recent addition to the fleet. Just as in the Hays Imaging Center, all mobile imaging services are supervised by Radiology Associates of Hays. Technical staff are credentialed in radiologic technology, receiving regular supervision from a radiologist and participating in continuing education to stay current in the latest techniques and theory.
